Yoga is a form of movement and meditation designed to strengthen and balance the body, mind and nervous system.
By consciously breathing, we form a greater connection with ourself. By creating a deeper sense of self we can start to build a stronger emotional and physical framework, have greater resilience and find that inner strength to hold our heads high to greet and relish and conquer.
In today’s society, we all need to be able to access support for our mental health and wellness. Everyone should try yoga as a way to focus, find a calm quiet space in the sea of noise.
Yoga is not only for handstands and is a good compliment to sport and those competing in triathlon, cycling, running etc. My past students have included Performance Cycling Coach Holly Seear and Olympian and Commonwealth gold medallist, Nick Nieland.

I have practised Yoga for a long time, over twenty years and trained with many wonderful teachers including Jason Crandell, Lucy crawford Scott, David Garrigues and David Swenson.
Yoga has helped me overcome a multitude of real everyday behaviours and thoughts, low self esteem, anxiety, panic, disappointment, defeat, lack of appetite. Yoga has helped me channel and manage my high energy levels so I can feel energised and yet relaxed and enjoy life.
I teach dynamic yoga, my classes are designed to strengthen the body and the mind. From movement we can find stillness and from a place of stillness we find strength.
